All eyes on youby nico_blueComment: Nice to see you 4 places below me Nico... ;)
A well done image though. I had thought of doing a fear of public speaking shot, but could never come up with a clever composition like this. |

Symbol of Life!by vikasComment: another one I liked. I gave this a 7. Composition is nice with off centered image and good, but not too much, negative space. I like the star effect and don't think it dominates too much. There are a few pixels of white which could easily be removed with a mild run through "despeckle" in PS. Perhaps just a tad overexposed with the flames, but this was a demanding challenge and there were many which were worse. |

insomniaby crayonComment: You know, it seems most of the people asking for my comments in this challenge have shots I liked. I gave this a 7. It looks like you had a nice score though, 5.88 is great.
I thought the composition was good. I like the motion blur of the individual. I wondered if you could have blown out the white at the top of the box less, but that is a very minor beef.
Good stuff altogether. |

Lighting the Wayby cpanaiotiComment: Ha, had there been the common "underrated" thread I would have given you a mention. I gave this an 8 and in the challenge it was the lowest rated picture I voted that high.
You saw my comment before, I liked the exposure and the fact that you captured some secondary reflections as well. Perhaps some thought it too busy. I liked it anyway... |

Out of Darknessby cpanaiotiComment: I gave this a 7 when I voted. I like it, but I would say there is too much negative space. If you were able to crop tighter so that the temple took up say half the picture vertically and 2/3rds horizontally, I think it would be stronger. We would be able to see more detail in the building and I was intrigued by the colors which you could see. It mad me curious as to what was going on there. The lone lamplight may be a distractor and were it advanced, I'd be tempted to clone it out. |

Claustrophobiaby middelboschComment: Good job. I wanted to do claustrophobia myself, but just couldn't come up with a good composition. This is excellent. Flipping the picture (I'm assuming) does a good job of adding a sense of unease. The technicals are well done too. 7 |

Brigitteby carlosrComment: Well, my wife didn't like this one so much (she felt the nudity was gratuitous). I did. I think the extended neck and the grasping of the sheet lend a feeling of the fear. The title might hammer you due to Challenge requirements, but I'm not going to vote you down for that. I assume it's a fear of hanging. The technicals and lighting are well done too. I give it an 8 which is one of the 4 highest scores in this challenge from me. |

The Birds! The Birds!by e301Comment: I wish there was a person in the midst of the birds with his/her hands over their head or on their ears. Would have conveyed the phobia a bit better. However, I still like the frenetic nature of the shot and gave it an 8. That's one of the top 4 shots in this challenge as far as my voting goes. Well done. |

Taphephobia by fadedbeautyComment: I gave 1 ten and 1 nine in this challenge. This is the 9, so I guess you get red in my book. Well done in execution and creativity. Looks like it took some work, but was fun to shoot. I do get the sense of fear in this one. I'm assuming "taphephobia" is the fear of being buried alive... |
