Greetings from the Critique Club

Congratulations. You have created a fine image that met the challenge beautifully, is technically good and scored well.

You have received many comments on your photograph which makes it difficult to add anything new to this commentary. However, I will say that the border you chose suits the image perfectly. I am usually not a fan of large, black borders. Why? Because they make me feel claustrophobic! As if the image within is being imprisoned. Well, just what you wanted, right?

Okay. All I can add is, "keep up the good work."

Very Good - I can "feel" her fear - Photo is all about feeling - good or bad - Looking at this photo, one gets a slight peek into what it must feel like to be Clustrophobic,

To me it doesnt give a sense of being closed in, the picture doesnt convey the relative spaces to me.

Really the top shot of this challenge. Reminds me to the scene of Kill Bill II. when Uma Thurman is digged alive and wants to escape. The cropping works well with the subject of the photo, I feel breathless looking at your model struggling in such a small place. Maybe a bit more agressive helding of the hands would make me feel more crazy. Wiching you Merry Christmas and good luck. (10)

What flipping can do for the dramatism of this picture... Bright idea.

Good idea, composition, focus, and you've managed to capture the feeling of being shut in from above. Wish for a touch more DOF, and for removal of the shadow from the wrist, but I think that the photo is effective.

Good job. I wanted to do claustrophobia myself, but just couldn't come up with a good composition. This is excellent. Flipping the picture (I'm assuming) does a good job of adding a sense of unease. The technicals are well done too. 7

i like the idea and the effect is there but the shadows are ugly and the crop on the left seems so ransom

I'm not claustrophobic, but this one is scary and conveys it well. Good lighting and focus, and of course the framing is very important for this one!
