Dang, I really liked this in thumbnail, but I'm not sure I like the halo effect. That will keep it from a 9-10, but I'll still give it an 8. This pic is truly all about the shape.

Sorry it took me a day. I didn't see your request. We'll, to be honest, the first thing I think is "why?". It certainly fits the challenge, but is this an abstract which holds interest for us as a piece of art? Your technicals are actually very nice. I do like the gradient of light on the black colander screen. The red lights just don't look like they work to me. They disrupt rather than complement the current pattern. It also seems like many of the people asking me to comment have two or more patterns in their shots. People seemed to like one dominant pattern which was both interesting to the mind and pleasing to the eye.
