Near the window IIby loveComment: I really like this edit with the darkened background and the closer crop...it feels much more intimate. The placement is just perfect and the pose is very natural. I love the glowing quality that this portrait has. Beautiful! |

A mother's Perspectiveby JewellyComment: Oh, but the top of a newborn's head is such a sweet spot!...Perhaps the shot would be improved by a slightly different perspective to include a glimpse of the baby's face, but nonetheless, this image captures a real sense of tenderness. The cradling of the head by the little hands is precious and your DOF provides a nice softness that enhances the tender moment. |

san juan streetsby sevilduvarciComment: I like this a lot!...the colors, the tilting angles, the cat that's there, but not completely. Maybe a bit of burning would deepen the image and make it pop even more, but as it is it's just great. Very nice capture! Message edited by author 2006-09-07 09:51:10. |

_MG_6020_defocus_720.jpgby ImagineerComment: What I love about this is that in rendering the image in such an abstracted way, you've invited us to elicit our own varied sentiments. This makes me think about how we all carry around with us memories of moments spent which are special, yet perhaps no longer vivid - just hazy little souvenirs that become part of the fabric of who we are. I find it to be emotive in a nostalgic, melancholy sort of way. |
