I have to agree with ajmason66 - I think this came in under rated. Guess the masses don't agree with us. The simplicity of it appeals to me. The line of light/dark in the reflection is the only negative in my mind.

I end up puzzeld by the flat area to the left - a pool of water??? Think a crop at the left edge of the bush on the left would have be more appealing. You might have to crop just a bit off the right to keep the balance, but keep the ferns there - they add to the challenge topic.

There is a balance here that is off and a bit disconerting to me. I feel like the doors/windows sould be centered - but they are not - rather you centered the image based on the ceiling it seems. Yet the reflections make me think you are standing directly in front of the doors - but if that is so then the doors and the ceiling should be balanced. Given this image I would have centered it base on the doors. As it is it just feels out of kilter to me.

Very good idea for this challenge. I would have tried more shots - I think it would work better is you could improve the symetry on the hands a bit more.

Good choice of subject for this challenge, but it came out a bit dark and the piece of the tree dominates too much for my taste - especially the out of focus bright area in the foreground. The brightness is the problem to me on that not the focus. It just pulls me away from the lichen. I think a tighter crop and an angle that showed more detail in the lichen would have been better.

Look overshapened to me and I'm not sure I like the B&W here it seems to give the sky and the hills a "color" that just does not feel right - I'd like to see the image in color
