Merging signals..by ytshuvaComment: I don't understand why this was entered in this challenge. I see some parallel lines but those are not working towards a vanishing point in terms of composition. |

Pierby jomariComment: Is see two images of this same pier in this challenge. In my view the other is better as result of its low perspective and view angle. It makes it more dynamic. |

Towards Infinityby MargaretNetComment: I see two images of this same pier in this challenge. The perspective of this one is better in my view. It makes better use of the vanishing point and the tilt angle makes it more dynamic. |

Still life with bread, wine and applesby mariucaComment: I think it needs more work in terms of composition, viewing angle and especially lighting. It could be much more appetizing than this. With good light you could emphasise the texture of the bread, the colour of the wine, the shape of the apples, the shape of the glass etc. I would start with reduction of the number of elements, take a lower viewpoint and then experiment with different light sources. A single light source from the side to start with, and some reflectors to fill in shadows etc etc. |

Winter Chiliby MonaComment: I don't know why it is a "winter" chili. I don't know such a dish. Is it because of the snow in the background? Or because the food is served cold? The food looks cold as well. |

Hidden Treasures by RianBotesComment: The colours of the landscape, the depth of the landscape and the mist make this beautiful. I don't like the strong sunset and the star effect. |

IMGP3478-3by eamurdockComment: Very nice natural portrait. You could increase the exposure a bit (or apply levels correction). |

Opening Salvoby LuciemacComment: Beautiful capture of the full wing. Great colours. The eye is not sharp but in this picture it does not matter so much to me since the emphasis is on the wing movement. |

Orange Caterpillar Parasite Wasp with Dewdrops.by rozComment: Beautiful as ever. If I would be really nit-picking I would say it would be nice to have part of the second antenna in focus as well. I always wonder how you get so much in focus of a moving animal and whether you use natural or flash light. My macros always show a lot of out-of-focus, either because of DOF or because of movement. Top 3. |

January Bluebirdsby DrakeComment: Beautiful birds and I like how you have captured two in one shot. The image is rather dark and underexposed overall. You could make it even more attractive by either adjusting exposure (if you have raw images) or by applying levels and curves correction. And if you want to improve it further you can dodge the reflection in the eye to make it brighter. |
