Urban Squirrelby PaulMdxComment: Great catch, with the bin in the background and the french fries in its paws. |

Thistle and beeby trainComment: Good colors and composition. Unfortunately there is some movement blur in the bee itself. |

Desert Moonlight by dsidwellComment: Congratulations on your ribbon. As said before : this was my favourite in the challenge. By the way, the bright star you would like to move to the left, that is probably the planet Mars. I downloaded the program starrynight to find out what the bright star in my shot was, I guess it is the same in yours, although a few days later.
Note added later : I checked again with Starrynight.com, location Loga, Utah, 9-1-2004, around 21:00 hrs. Marbo is absolutely right, the star is Sirius, approx. in the southeast, Mars was more to southwest. Message edited by author 2004-01-19 13:31:45. |

Ciggie break in the coldby kiwinessComment: Crop of the left part up to the back of his head and I think it is perfect. I don't smoke but this picture makes me imagine how someone can long for a cigarette, gives a restful moment in a hectic world. I love the overall blue color and then the red tip of the cigarette. 9 |

Niagara Falls by Nightby wdebeau1Comment: Could probably have been improved by including more of the waterfall and less of the sky. But otherwise, great shot. Good to include the structure in the foreground to add depth. |

Devin Castle by Moonlightby sahkoComment: A little bit closer and more carefull composition would have made this perfect. I love the colors of the sky and the mountain, very surreal. The branch on the right and the flagpost could have been cropped away. Or by taking the picture more from the right , you could have used the tree as left limit, while still capturing the red glow. 9 |

Riverwalk Lightingby MusicmanComment: Too much going on for my taste. I think if you would have included only the terrace with the colorful parasols, it would have been much better. |
