Interludeby PedroComment: A great image, a fine capture of the moment with a great expression of concentration. It reminds me of the streetwork of Henri Cartier Bresson, although this one is maybe a bit too clean. I would not have disliked a bit of grain or noise to add to the atmosphere. All other technical aspects are just perfect to me, good background blur to bring the subject forward. Great natural light to give depth to the person. |

Warmthby joannsComment: What a lovely portrait, great soft atmosphere and a very good choice of props and colors. And a beautiful model. Nice soft light distribution on the background as well and a border which really adds to the image. Fantastic. I personally love tight crops and wonder whether a slightly closer crop on the right side would have made it even stronger, I would have tried to crop out up to the black shirt, no skin showing. |

An eye on the cider press.by jjbeguinComment: Wow, really love this one. Like one of the classical masters. The hard shadow fits perfectly with the pose, with the diagonal created by the arm. Great empty space as well. I don't like the title, it explains too much what is going on, while the image is open for so many interpretations. I think you should have left the viewer wonder what he is looking at or what he is thinking about. |

Strawberry Farmby chookieComment: It looks like you are trying to show two different things in this image. Simple images with one clear subject are usually better, limit yourself to the essentials. |

A glass of Italiaby KatrankaComment: normal food but a wacky setup. Nice light, I like the transparency and shadows, really creating depth, and also the red and green. I think a more attractive colored background would have improved i. |

On The Grillby bobgaitherComment: don't know what is wacky here, looks a very normal dish, eaten all over the world. Nice colors. Could have removed the top right piece of meat. |

Balut (Partiallly incubated duck chick)by briphotoComment: probably a delicacy somewhere, but not for me thanks. The light is rather flat, if you would have added a more directional light it would have been not so flat, and then you also could have used a smaller aperture to get somoe more dpth of field, the head is not sharp now. |

Spam and Cabanon Fromage Délicesby bruskiComment: An attractive looking dish with nice colors, and indeed a wacky combination of flavours. Just the dish would have been enough, would have made it simpler and better, the background and bottle is not needed. If you want to use a limited depth of field then at least the focus should be more to the front. |
