4 - In my opinion you 'lost points' with the elaboration, just the year would suffice and as I read the Challenge ('should be'). Criticism; I like what you have chosen to shoot here but would like to see more of the little 'book'(?) to add more 'feel' to this photo. Perhaps even b/w or sepia but yes I know the Coke thimble might get lost a little. With just the title, likely a 7 from me (as a photo of this put into said year time capsule, would depict the era for future generations, not to mention these subjects would likely would fit into a time capsule as they are). edit:typos

4 - I like the concept of this shot for this year but in my opinion, that is all you needed ('should have') in the title, just the year. Criticism; also given the year depiction, a color shot would have been better in my opinion. An original shot though.. a photo of this put into a time capsule for this year would depict 'an aspect' of this year for future generations. Color and just the year, and likely 7 if not 8 from me.

'7' - Great concept, though for me, even without the 'end' bolts etc, might have been more effective. Creative. Good illusion but needs more fine tuning to get a real 'mind tricking' shot.

6 - Met the Challenge (for me a photo of this put into a time capsule for said year would depict a good feel for this era for future generations, even if just for the cars). Criticism; not much, I think you have done well and the 'neutral' background and sun through the distant trees do not detract from the image and in fact, complement it. I think the sepia(?) works well here and adds to the 'character'. Maybe, a slightly different angle, not sure.
