Newbornsby totaldisComment: 99% sure this is Peucetia Viridans 'Green Lynx Spider'.
Arthropods/Arthropoda/Arachnids/Arachnida/Spiders(Araneae)/Lynx Spiders(Oxyopidae)/Peucetia/Green Lynx Spider(Peucetia viridans).
Information found at BugGuide.Net. Here is another picture of 'Momma'. Here and here are two more pictures of the spiderlings.
After looking at these shots on BugGuide.Net, it seems you may have had more potential to capture the seemingly vivid green of this spider. As for the shot of the spiderlings, I think a different crop may have made it a better shot, if possible. |

far aheadby zara-opalComment: 7 - Very good. Criticism; not much, perhaps taken at a different time of day may have added a different effect, especially utilizing shadows, not sure. The sky is not as 'complementary' to this scene as it could be in my opinion, but obviously, depends on time of day and opportunity. Maybe a tighter crop out of the sky, not sure. |

Amasa Backby DiamondPeteComment: 7- Nice. Criticism; if possible, incorporating more 'green' at the fore to offset the 'blue top' of the frame, may have made this better in my opinion. Seems a good focal point/capture here with the hills/rocks, with the seemingly (but obviously not) 'out of place' snow capped mountains in the background. |

Seascapeby Tom_RobbrechtComment: 7 - Very nice. Criticism; I think it is the result of the diagonal sand/foreshore, which makes my 'eyes' think that the horizon is slightly off, but I 'measured' it and it seems spot on, plus I like the effect with that 'diagonal', in fact would like to have seen it even 'sharper'. Also, especially for the Challenge, I would like to have seen more 'land', especially with this, again, sharp perspective you've garnered. More sea/ocean, more sand/shells or more 'distant island/land', not sure. |

Tranquilityby kearockComment: 7 - Nice shot. Criticism; would like to have seen a bit more definition in the landscape(s). Nice 'soft' colors. |

All Alone...by mphoyComment: 4 - Good potential. Criticism; sharper angle, incorporating more 'land'/view, would have made this better in my opinion. |
