Nice capture of the look in the eyes. Opportune obviously, but sharper, especially in the eyes, make this even better in my opinion. The ear, etc seems to have some 'overexposed issues', but you likely know that anyway.

Criticism; difficult with the 'opportunity' but sharper, more 'pop', etc. Perhaps a little more space 'above', for added balance, depending what you had to work with originally, of course. Up to 7 from 6, mainly for 'difficulty'.

Criticism; 'if only' the top of the head/crown/feathers were not cut/cropped, make this much better in my opinion, even with the wings (even though seemingly fully spread) cut. 640 and just more context (if you had it, obviously) also would have given this extra. Good colors and background. Up to 7 from 6, mainly for 'unique factor'.

8 - Oh... Very nice capture. Criticism; difficult, depending what you had to work with perhaps a little more space to the left of it's tail. Even sharper, more 'pop' and a tweaking of colors slightly may have made this even better in my opinion. A little 'blown'/overexposed in areas but, not an easy shot. Up to 8 from 7.

8 - .. Wow. Different. Not sure on those eyes/flash reflection but I think this shot likely 'grows on you'. Not sure if this is 'natural environs' or not, but does look realistic at any rate. Matters not to my vote. Criticism; difficult, maybe more height for added impact for 'here', not sure. Maybe a tweaking of colors and or sharpening to get the cat to pop more - the eyes, not sure, as they make this shot unique. Perhaps a little more subtle, again not sure. I like the centered composition. Just if it had more 'pop'/definition and 'drama', 'somehow', make this even better in my opinion. Up to 8 from 7, mainly for 'unique factor'.
