3 - Like the concept. A much tighter crop, also to diminish the overexposed areas as much as possible and perhaps a variation in the toning to leave more detail in, make this better in my opinion. A more balanced composition (more centered or else off-centered) and 640 width (quality dependent) would have likely helped too.

5 - Nice. Like the composition. Wish it were bigger, 640 width in this case. Perhaps a more finely tuned crop (more inclusion of the yellow on the left, depending what you had to work with) and the fore pink a little softer, 'somehow' (difficult in basic), make this even better in my opinion.

Apt that I make a comment on this now after elsapo's tribute to you, Tribute to Rissa in the Deja Vu II Challenge. This is still one of my favorite DPC photographs, and one of the first I added to my Favorites. The centered composition and simple coloring coupled with the straight down the barrel stare, make this such an excellent photograph.
