4 - Like the composition and the focus is nice.. but I'm seeing orange here, and green. A more finely tuned crop at the top may have also made this better in my opinion. Like the title.

3 - Mainly because fish shots are not easy. Too close, grainy/something issues, background is too busy and not 'consistently blue enough'. Flash too harsh.

5 - Meets the Challenge, just.. the concept is becoming commonplace so the impact is less, especially so close after the Refraction Challenge. So a bit of a risky entry, having said that, to take such a risk with a concept such as this has to be a 'special shot' and this just needs some further refinement, and also, as mentioned, something to give it an edge, in my opinion.

3 - Good potential here. Looks like a vase of flowers, for this Challenge, concentrating just on the iris with the complementary scheme of purple/blue and yellow/orange (tweaking in pp to get one or the other), a different angle, eliminating the other detracting flowers and colors and a variation in composition, make this better in my opinion. Looks blown and 'too close' focal-wise as well. Shame about the dead pixel and grain, again, varying the composition and/or crop, likely have helped this.

3 - The boy detracts from the simplicity of this image, but depends what you were wanting to achieve. This shot with just the wall/window and a nudge rotate up on the left, likely 6-7.

2 - Composition is not bad. Main thing though is that yellow is the dominant color here in my opinion, followed by green then orange, possibly red, then black. For this Challenge, cropping tighter to get just the 'red' and the green plus making your image 640 width, would have helped you. Fairly well doesn't meet the Challenge though - not 'showcasing' complementary colors here. 'flower' is also not a very 'complementary' title, but your call.

5 - Like the concept. Main detractors in my opinion are the frame (for this size especially) and the very shallow depth of field, which may well have been intentional - just like to have seen a little more detail. Perhaps a slight variation in the composition too. Perhaps a more horizontal framing, not sure. Bokeh is nice.

Complementary Colors

7 - Very nice. Sharper and more green, including 'vividness' make this better in my opinion. Frame works. Maybe a nudge up on the left, not sure.

Purple/Yellow Pansy

4 - Good potential. Looks like a harsh flash, so perhaps trying to diffuse it somehow may have made this not quite so 'harsh'. A variation in crop too, trying to reduce the green make this also better in my opinion. The yellow in the center seems blown as well. Some grain/issues in the black 'background'.
