5 - Nice concept. Like the subtlety in colors and the use of paper with the texture. A more finely tuned crop at the top, removing the green leaves entirely, make this even better in my opinion. Also, whilst difficult with the whites, a tweaking of colors to get them just a little 'stronger', also help this for this Challenge.

2 - Despite your 'plainly written' title, the blue is the dominant color here. 'DMC' enough in my opinion. Perhaps a more finely tuned crop, not sure. Maybe if you had shifted the hue in pp, made the tulip orange... who knows.

3 - Bit of a stretch to meet the Challenge. Perhaps a tighter crop, concentrating on the red/green, who knows. Fairly good capture of unusual looking grasshoppers though.

2 - Meets the Challenge by a bit of a stretch. Main thing in my opinion is that this seems a bit snapshottish, although the concept could 'work', however would need refinement. Sharper and more attention paid to detail, make this better in my opinion, but not sure what you were aiming for.

4 - Variation in composition, including 'choosing' which surface to 'show' (ie: best), a little more 'depth' and perhaps a variation in angle/perspective, may have given this a little extra in my opinion.

7 - Not sure what you captured there on the right, but it is interesting and the color is good. Coloring of 'liquid' and umbrella are good, although like to see them a little more vivid. Background, while quite 'pure', doesn't 'boost' them enough, in my opinion. Could just be the subtle lighting though, not sure.
