I've got the bluesby dahkotaComment: I gave this an 8. Really liked it. Wasn't quite as abstract as I'd like to have seen for this 'subject' for this Challenge. |

nature's rays by RikkiComment: I gave this an 8. Liked the composition, color and texture. Just that 'bit' of mushroom was slightly distracting/out of place, in my opinion, but fairly minor anyway. edit: Congratulations. Message edited by author 2006-07-24 16:30:55. |

I-Pod? I-Not!by MajankaComment: I gave this a 9. Good macro(?), liked the texture/detail captured. The color combinations took a little while to get used to, but do go together well, in my opinion. |

Extraction Of An Abstraction by hotpastaComment: I gave this a 9. Good macro. Colors are very good. Framing is well done, but borders on sacrificing the 'image space', at this size, if that makes sense, but still looks good, in my opinion. Good texture and composition. |

Kaleidoscopeby LucidLotusComment: I gave this a 6. Liked the colors - but just wasn't abstract enough, for me. |

A Different Perspective - Dewby macrothingComment: Thank you for the comments. This shot was 90% about the bokeh effect with the dew from this perspective. The dew drops on the far left and right edges are the only real focal points, and not that sharp either. The poor (rushed) desaturation, visible mainly on the far left 'blade' and the black tip on the blade of grass left of centre (which I didn't notice in my 'rush') were the major 'flaws' for me in this. Otherwise it was about both the perspective (angle) as well as the perspective and effect of dew captured through a lens using the morning light to create this 'effect'. I liked it anyway - flaws aside.
For those interested, an edited version:

"The Skybridge"by bhack101Comment: 8 - Good shot and perspective. A more refined crop, especially at the top, may have made this even better in my opinion - but minor. Sure this size doesn't do this justice. |
