I gave this an 8. Really liked the colors/patterns/shapes used, as well as the unusual 'placement'. The 'high key' effect works well, but just a fraction more definition, may have made this even better in my opinion... but I'm sure this looks exactly as you intended.

I gave this an 8. Really liked it, especially the seemingly natural color. Difficult, but even sharper/more definition and possibly more uniform light, may have made this even better in my opinion, however does work well as is. Taking the liberty of adding to my Favorites.

Re your title, honestly only after reviewing it and reading your notes, do I now 'get' what you were aiming for - but might just be me, good any way. Would like to have seen a little softer light overall, otherwise perhaps not a white background - just seems a bit 'bright'.

I gave this an 8. Good use of colors/textures/patterns, especially in an 'every day thing'. The tonings applied work well, however a little bit more 'depth'/something may have made it even better and brought out the textures more, in my opinion.
