Pensive Pugby m_sarzynskiComment: 4 - Not sure the b&w has enhanced this image. Also the focus seems slightly off. The reflection in the eye(s) make this a little 'odd' in my opinion. Composition is nice, as is the capture/pose. |

33° celsius siestaby LlamboComment: 8 - What a nice portrait and capture. Just wish the nose was in focus too, or else the eyes dominating a little more. Nice composition and colors. Maybe just a fraction less wood on the left, but very minor. Like the title. |

Toothless Grinby abroken1Comment: 6 - Nice clarity in that eye. Nice colors. The wood shavings(?) are slightly distracting. Like to have seen his/her leg not choppped else a little tighter and just a fraction more dof with the shell. |

Who are YOU?by CordeliaComment: 3 - Not enough 'cat' in my opinion to make this more of a portrait than an abstract. Additionally, this close up of the eye.. if the eye was clean make it even better. |

borisby taseComment: 5 - Quite a good 'studio portrait' of Boris, however in my opinion the background is a little 'bland' and the pose perhaps a little.. 'uninteresting'. The darker areas seem to need attention too. |

beautiful boyby guillermo21Comment: 7 - You've captured his beauty well, especially with the range of colors and your control of them. Obviously you've opted for the ear chop, undecided on it, but does work as is anyway in my opinion. The background color complements this / him well. Just like to have seen the eyes a little more, 'somehow'. |

"The Look"by Blue MoonComment: 4 - Good potential, think I understand the concept, not sure you've achieved it though. Seems to be blur issues, but could be intentional. Bigger (640 height) make this better in my opinion - if the quality was there. |

Christmas Puppyby KarchieComment: 5 - Nice shot and good potential. The reds just jump out first and dominate too much in my opinion. The lighting on the puppy's nose just a fraction too harsh. Like to have seen the pup dominate the frame more. |
