Inside the cat's mouth looks focused to me. :)

I try to get shots when they are yawning, it's annoyingly difficult, so I like what you've done here. The only spoiler for me is the dotted red background, it hurts my eyes a bit.

really love this photograph - deeply not surprised to find it near the bottom of the pile though (people have really limited imagination). you should get some satisfaction from the five 10s, which are all well deserved. the blur, level of noise, and the colours being restricted to reds, browns and whites are very effective, creative and lovely. a good cat capture.

Don,
I gave this one a 6. I think it's a great capture - love that you caught Knuckles mid-yawn. It is also pretty sharp for not being quite in focus. Maybe a higher ISO would have helped "freeze" the motion better, though of course I realize that also results in a grainy look. Tough to photo animals indoors while moving! I love kitties and Knuckles is adorable.

4.4040? Score not found?
Anyway I really liked this shot... I wish I had commented during the challenge - I would have said that the motion really works for me, and I love how the red colors in the tongue and background match pretty well (and how the red emphasizes "violent" which is pretty neat)

This picture seems unfocused and grainy, not sure if its because of the movement or not, I am affraid you will get a lot of comments on the focus.

I'm going with "intentional blur" as opposed to "out of focus," but the centered composition doesn't work for me.

to much blurr with the movement, hard luck

I like the background you chose to shoot with but this is much too blurry. Better focus and faster shutter speed

3 - Different. Like the colors. Not sure the best 'pose' for a Portrait Challenge.

It's a pity, that the shot is a bit smudged in the area of the teeth.

Just too out of focus.

Wow, I've seen my cats like that too! *grin* This really captures this furbaby's emotions! I know this is an action shot and therefore, hard to focus properly, but, since it is out of focus, perhaps, having cropped it down to just the face??? Might have put more focus on the cat's emotions and taken away from the blur???

Out of focus, maybe intentionally but it doesn't work for me, sorry.
