Hoopsby BADDBOYY21Comment: 8 - Oh, that's nice. Like to have seen some more height framewise - maybe. Just the few areas like bottom right and perhaps just behind the ear upper left cropped out 'somehow', may have made this even better in my opinion. Like the softness, but do wonder about more clarity/sharper in the eyes. |

Whiskersby ekmendozaComment: 3 - Bit sharper on Whiskers with a variation in composition/framing help this in my opinion. |

BlackJackby laserComment: 4 - A different angle and background would have helped with this in my opinion. Frame is too strong also for this image. A little sharper too. |

Curiousityby CarinComment: 3 - Not really a strong portrait in my opinion. Bigger, if you had the quality, make this better, plus obviously a variation in crop - unless this is intentional. Also, not sure 'what', but seems to be noise and lines/something in this image - could be pixelation issues. |

Gentle Guardianby robinssongComment: 5 - Too tightly cropped in my opinion and too much blur and oof areas. The lighting is very nice on the dog's right eye, but more use of that lighting plus a little sharper on both make this better in my opinion. |

Pavlov's Catby thegrandwazooComment: 7 - Obviously very good, but not as much as a 'portrait' as I'd like to have seen.. more of a 'moment capture', which I understand may be your choice for an appropriate portrait here. Just wish the edge of the cushion was out of frame, but .. difficult. |

"Moochie"by RazorsEdgeComment: 4 - Nice portrait of Moochie, just a little too tight for this frame/composition choice in my opinion and the 'noise' has seeped through too much. |

Aunt Miss Kittyby WonderDudeComment: 3 - Looks a little snapshottish in my opinion. Some blur here as well. A more refined crop and perhaps variation in framing (more horizontal, who knows), make this better in my opinion. |

Jimby ZippyComment: 6 - Nice profile 'portrait' of Jim. Perhaps some more height in the frame, going for more of a square crop, may have given this an edge. Difficult, but the lighting the way it is, the white background isn't enhancing any of Jim's wonderful colors and textures, in my opinion. |

Otisby samnotisComment: 6 - Very nice angle and crop and composition. Nice capture, like the reflection in the eyes too. Just the .. grain/noise and loss of 'control', detail in the black - otherwise, very nice portrait. |
