Hrcoby CyMaNComment: 4 - Like the composition and framing, but not sure the toning/b&w brings this to life as much as a variation (or even color) may have. A fraction sharper on the eyes too. |

Chi hua huaby whiteroomComment: 5 - Quite a nice shot of the dog, but the girl is the main 'star' in this in my opinion, therefore not quite being as strong a 'Pet Portrait' as I would like to have seen. Toning works well. |

Sad Eyesby EssAreDubyaComment: 5 - Like to have seen the eyes a little sharper and better control of the whites, or 'using' the blown areas more overall. Not sure on the frame. |

I'm trying to sleep,. Quit with the flash.by cryingdragonComment: 6 - Nice moment capture, wish the cat were looking at camera. The 'soft'/oof areas.. not sure. Nice and simple, but perhaps a little more space to the left and variation in frame choice, with also perhaps slightly finer lines, likely make this even better, in my opinion. |

What are you looking at?by gameboy720Comment: 3/2..3 - Appears to be a nice looking dog, assuming this tight crop was intentional, less blur/better focus, either lighting variation or an edit of the 'flash eyes' would make this better. In my opinion, much farther out to show the features of this dog would have made a better 'Pet Portrait'. Overall, this looks 'snapshottish'. |

Say Cheese...........by trolljentaComment: 6 - Classic shot, good, just the minor areas of grain/noise and, obviously your call on this for a 'Pet Portrait'. |

Time to change the litterboxby nickinpdxComment: 4 - Ok, 'time when the snapshot is a classic'. Good capture, amusing title, just the background distractions detract from what a somewhat unusual 'Pet Portrait'. |

We are not in Kanas Anymoreby hallswelComment: 5 - Mainly for effort/concept. Good potential. More refined crop, especially at the bottom, but mainly the focus - seems sharpest on the tin man, make this much better in my opinion. Perhaps a variation in lighting too. |

Merry Christmas from The Girlsby ArtifactsComment: 4 - As there are two girls here, like to have seen both in focus, also the focal area a little wider to include the eyes as sharp as those choppers seem to be. |

Camera shyby cjavierComment: 4 - Good potential. Just wish the flash/lighting wasn't so harsh and the focus didn't include the 'base' so much. A different pose/capture likely have given this extra too in my opinion. |
