Syrah in her elementby arosComment: 7 - Nice outdoor full body shot. Nice elements too. Could just be visual but looks like it needs a nudge rotate up on the right. The wire/stick/something left foreground, slighty distracting, but minor. |

My Preciousby fordmanf1Comment: 6 - Nice colors and portrait. Not sure if it is pp or not but some light areas, dodging, something around the head which I find detracts. |

What\'s a Dalmation got that I don\'t Have??by PurpleKComment: 6 - Wish more attention had been paid to the table(?) edges, excluding them from frame. The dog (and hat) positioned closer to the camera to dominate more, likely have given this extra. Variation on the pose/angle - but difficult. |

Doggone Those Eyesby lynnesiteComment: 8 - Good pet portrait and character capture. More refined crop (especially bottom left) and the nose a fraction more in focus, make this even better in my opinion. |

Grrr.....Very Grrby Pipe_DreamComment: 6 - Think I understand the high key concept but not sure it is working with this composition. Like the angle, but because I can only make out some 'areas' around the neck/chest/etc, and they don't 'flow', makes it slightly distracting. Perhaps more included at the top and more frame vertically make this better, not sure. Nice pose and nice color capture (other than the aforementioned whites), just like to have seen a little more clarity in the eyes and nose. |

This my Best Side ?by BrianRComment: 4 - Background color not enhancing the dog's coat in my opinion. The side on profile also perhaps not as interesting as more front on would have been - getting 'whoever' to stand behind camera would likely have helped. |

au Banalby violinist123Comment: 8 - Commented on this but it didn't 'stick'. I bet you are still laughing at this. Good and unusual, shame the reflections are not more even in the eyes. Just mainly the oof foreground/fabric that detract in this in my opinion. Certainly not banal - well not for a dog. |

Weimaraner Puppyby bryantbusComment: 8 - Commented on this but it didn't 'stick'. Beautiful dog, not sure that the base and background are bringing out the beautiful coat and eyes as well as a variation may have. The background circular pattern - more centered for added overall balance, may have also given this an edge. |

"I Hate You for This."by KenComment: 6 - Title is apt. Few lighter markings on the black fabric are slightly distracting. The paw in focus too and perhaps a slight variation in angle for something a bit different, make this better in my opinion. |

Lolaby geneward2Comment: 6 - Nice little nose Lola has. Beautiful cat, not sure that this framing and composition and background colors are bringing out her features as best as a variation may have. |
