6 - Like this, but a few tweaks could have given it an edge in my opinion. Examples: variation in background color and lighting, more refined crop, especially at the bottom and less grain/noise.

4 - Might sound minor but, even the bird's name would have made this more of a 'Pet Portrait' in my opinion. Like the crop, not sure that it is showing the bird as a 'portrait' of it as well as further out would have, especially for this Challenge, but your call.

3 - Lovely looking dog, but there seems to be a few issues, likely pp, here and there. The corner of the eye looks odd, whether due to desat or what not sure, the outline of the fur/dog looks dodged and the background color is too harsh in my opinion. Perhaps a different angle and not so tightly cropped, to give more room for 'the Shake' to be seen, may have made this better in my opinion.

4 - Quite a nice portrait of Wolfie, but the tail chopped is not good and the lighting seems a bit harsh. A few marks in front of the paws which are distracting.

2 - Looks like good potential, however the dog is not the dominant part of this image. Perhaps a more creative approach could have given this extra - eg: losing the shirt and bringing the dog closer to the camera, etc.

9 - Oh - nice. Like the background 'lines', etc - wonder if trying to incorporate some green there, and perhaps a variation in the 'grey' background left, may have made this even better. Nice clarity, nice pose, nice eyes. Nice coat capture too. The ear not cropped top right, but fairly minor.

5 - Mainly the background color, not enhancing Puppie Lou's eyes and coat as well as another color may have and the overexposed areas in the whites in my opinion.

5 - Like the concept but wonder whether tighter crop at the top to bring the eyes higher within the frame (and eliminate the ears), make this better. The cat looking 'up' more too, but difficult. Just trying to get a more 'candid' type shot rather than this which, quality aside, has a somewhat 'snapshot' feel to it, in my opinion.

4 - Looks like some resizing/something issues. Little blurry too so sharper and the donkeys faces more visible, make this better in my opinion. Not so tightly cropped/more space around them too.
