Aged to Purr-fection!by bergiekatComment: 5 - Nice character capture. Nice lighting - but a little subtler with this obviously 'fragile' creature, be more complementary in my opinion. Not so tightly cropped, else a variation so the feet were either completely in or completely out, plus possibly a different color background - again something to help complement the coat and character, etc all likely help this in my opinion. Some pp work visible behind the cat's left ear, so suggest you check your monitor. |

lost my soap!by chimaeraComment: 3 - Like to have seen the eyes, and the feet not chopped. Lighting seems too harsh on the head/back and the sides/frame not working in this image in my opinion. |

Little Chrissyby Mal37Comment: 6 - Nice looking cat, like the perspective/angle. Not sure on the color choice for background, plus the 'crinkles' in it are distracting. More attention paid to the reflections in both eyes and possibly not quite so tightly cropped (especially sides and bottom), make this better in my opinion. |

My birdby anferhComment: 3 - Looks like good potential - with or without the use of the mirror in the background. The colors of the flowers and the background are not complementing the bird, the oof tulip(?) dominates the frame too much, the composition is off balance, the tail would be better included and the angle of the bird more front on, make this better in my opinion. Also some grain/noise visible. |

Chrisby hajekaComment: 4 - Too close / harsh on Chris and also too harsh with the lighting/flash on the fur and eyes. The few stray hairs visible detract this close and this lit as well. A variation in lighting and just a little further back, likely have helped this, in my opinion. |

Nappingby chunkyComment: 6 - See now this is one shot where the eyes closed work, the tongue makes this. As for a 'Pet Portrait', likely not the best, but a personal one where you've captured the character well. For this Challenge though - like to have seen the eyes open - even a fraction. |

Nothin' Like a Paw for a Pillowby LoreneComment: 4 - Almost looks like his/her ears are 'down' to squeeze into the frame. Shame the color of the fabric dominates more than the nice tortoiseshell coat. Eyes open would be better, else like this, but more light on them to at least show their outline, maybe. |

Tomby XTuzerComment: 4 - Nice composition, not qite sure on the close crop at the top - either more to eliminate the 'inner ear' else the full ears. The red, especially at this small size, is distracting. Bigger (640) would have helped you, if the quality was there. Looks like possibly a fraction blurry. |

Untitledby rtscribbs02Comment: 5 - Nice pose/capture, but the background back left detracts from the dog and the effect with the snow hasn't been 'used' as well as a variation may have, in my opinion. Also seems to be a bit blurry. |

grass tumblerby annahComment: 6 - Nice image, more cat in frame and less empty space/grass, primarily for this Challenge, make this better in my opinion. |
