Magical lightby arpitaComment: I gave this an 8. Very nice - well photographed, including control of the depth and colors. |

Puesta del Solby RistyzComment: I gave this an 8. Very nice silhouette and unusual pose. Like that the hair was 'just' discernible. As mentioned by another, I wondered about the "four thingys" but resolved they were stirrups or some sort of 'equipment', and were minor. Upper right gradient softened would have made this even better in my opinion. |

Still Lifeby owenComment: I gave this an 8. Very nice, liked the 'blue'. Difficult, but was a combination of the lack of detail discernible in the textures (which I realize was likely intentional) and the composition, just needed a little less perfect symmetry (maybe) - 'somewhere', for this image, in my opinion - if that makes sense. |

Olympic Morningby charliebakerComment: I gave this an 8. Very nice and very good capture. Mainly the framing held it back in my opinion. |

Lazyby sibelingComment: Very nice 'portrait' and image. Fairly minor, but the blown issues detract a little, as you're likely well aware. Nice composition. Looks like a nice natured dog and you seem to have (as indicated in your comments) captured a 'classic pose' of Gilly. |

Haleemby XileboComment: My opinion (whilst no expert on motion panning) - I think you're right that it doesn't show enough panning effect. However.. very nice capture - really like the capture of the mane and all the 'horsehair'. If the quality is there (maybe some blown issues(?)), perhaps cropped tighter top and right (and possibly bottom too), might make for an unusual and good ('other') image as well. edit:to add - I gave your entry a 5, mainly for the blown issues, it was a very difficult Challenge/techniqueMessage edited by author 2007-01-25 19:32:10. |

beetleby ralphComment: 8 - Very nice. Difficult, but even more definition on the beetle and possibly all the anthers in focus (impossible perhaps) and the stigma, even if not in focus, just 'softer', may have made this even better, in my opinion. Nice composition. |

Wicklow Mountainsby aznymComment: 8 - Very nice. The blues in the clothing of the people match well. Maybe (if you had it), a little more height/sky may have given this even more of an edge, but perhaps just 'another image', if that makes sense. |

Great Falls Tavernby LanceWComment: 7 - Very nice scene. Hardly notice the people there. Really like the tree elements here, especially the blossom upper right corner. Wonder about a variation in cropping/composition, mainly to eliminate the people on the left, which would obviously mean losing that tree trunk as well, however bringing the building edge to the left of frame might have given this a little extra, not sure - but maybe just 'another' image, if that makes sense. |
