Hello? Anybody... Hello?by epescalaComment: Definitely a unique and good image. Still wish I could see it bigger - make an excellent large print. When viewing this during voting, it took a while to decipher 'what' I was looking at - a Gizmo, Furby, cat, dog ... I now see this is Fry and, Challenge definitions aside, this is also typical behaviour of his and in that respect a good 'unusual' portrait, a very nice moment capture. |

Please Let me outta here! :(by Dirt_DiverComment: "... This cat has his moments. I actually had to train him to just stand there but for the most part he kind of does it on his own. He knows he can't get out of the bathroom while the door is shut but the second the door is open he bolts out and slides right by you. I shot this on a tripod with my handy dandy remote in my hands. I had to keep dumping water on him because he kept shaking it off... " - some cats do like to play in water, does this cat get in the tub naturally? edit: thank you for the clarification pmMessage edited by author 2008-03-03 10:24:34. |

Cecilby RistyzComment: 8 - Nice character captured in Cecil. The marks in the background distract a little, as does the color to a degree, given those eyes. Nice sharp focus. This is a whisker away (pun intended) from an 8, so it goes up to 8 from 7. |

my bulldog puppyby jamesfraterComment: Looks like good potential with the brown in the coat at the rear coupled with the earth tones, but I wish it wasn't cropped so tight on the left. |

"Sagwa"by tiggermoComment: 8 - Nice portrait and interesting image with the split of white at the bottom and blue at the top. I wonder about a tighter crop on the right to accentuate that aspect even more and give this a little more of an edge. The background is nice, but I wonder about a variation in color that would bring out Sagwa's beautiful eyes even more. Up to 8 from 7. |

Klausby boyd2000Comment: 8 - Klaus is a handsome fellow, with lovely hair. Obviously unique eyes. Looks like you took his collar off for this - that's nice. This is a nice portrait, but I do wonder about him all buffed up (brushed) - but that's likely just 'another image'. Up to 8 from 7. |

Willieby tnunComment: 8 - Nice character capture of Willie - he looks like a good boy. Background is a little funky upper left, but does kind of add to the portrait in a way. Wish he were a bit more 'up' in the frame. Up to 8 from 7. |

Was that a rabbit?!by bspurgeonComment: 8 - Nice outdoor light to show off the coat well, which I imagine is difficult to photograph. Like the wagon element. A little clean and that ear not chopped/the rabbit watcher just a fraction further in the frame, make this even better in my opinion. Up to 8 from 7. |

Benjiby joynimComment: 7 - Nice focus on Benji, just find the top area/light background competes too much with Benji - maybe a crop variation, not sure. |
