8 - Nice capture, especially for this Challenge. I wonder about a tighter crop at the top to eliminate the gap in the fingers and create a more solid 'frame'.

8 - Nice focal point, I like the colors (especially to bring out his blue eyes). Good composition. The light reflected off the leather fabric in the background creates nice lines leading to the eyes and whiskers. My only suggestion is the title, and only because of the Challenge (otherwise it sure looks like a refuge), but of course, your call.

This was my favorite image in this Challenge. Really liked the processing on this, but especially liked the 'feel' with the dog looking out into the harsh ocean and those wild and windswept trees on the rocks/cliff face. For me this Challenge was primarily about matching the feel of an image with that of the song, and in this, I think you did it very well.
