Space and light.
It's the stuff architect's dreams are made of.
We are not that different...

You've given the viewer no clue as to what constitutes drama in this photo.
Are the trees, in semi-silhouette, dramatic?
Are the snow covered peaks dramatic?
Is the water dramatic?
etc..
A good picture (any media) will purposefully direct the viewer's attention.
We need to be guided.
It's your world.
You saw it.
Now tell us (show us) why it mattered.

You have, however got the "perspective" part of the deal right, in the sense that the water, the trees and the peaks (the main features) are all pictured relative to one another as determined by their relative distances from the viewer.
And that's more than I can say for most.
Good luck with your future endeavours!
I hope that at least some of this is helpful to you...

This photo looks like it was scanned.
Especially those funny looking lines in the sky, to the top left of the photo.
I also don't get the dark stripe in the water.

First off, let me tell you that I love your narrow dof.
Let me also warn you that there are those among us who won't.
Tough cookies for them.
Narrow dof is what allows us to paint with colours and shapes, because non-essentail things within the bounds of the shot become reduced to abstract colours and shapes when we throw them out of focus.

Your colours and lighting are all good for me.
And the placing of the bag lends nice visual interplay between itself, the row of lights, and the open door(?) in the far distance.
What detracts from this photo, however, is all those off centre lines and angles.
And unfortunately I can't get past looking at them.
Better luck next time.

Tough cookies, I tell you!

That's rather a bleak statement to make...
Fortunately I have a more optimistic take on the future of your photograph.
It's good!
Good luck!

Somewhat unnatural colour cast, but effective and striking none-the-less.
Some weird looking (USM?) halos around the boats on the right...
The post processing is what is faulting this image, as the abstract and technical issues leading up to that point all look fine to me.

I like it!
Sometimes it is that which is not said that does all the talking.
And this one speaks loud and clear.
Good luck!

This is an original idea.
It would look good on someone's wall if the mirror was clean.
I'm serious.
That's the only reason I'm faulting it.

There are 10 million bicycles in Beijing...
I would have liked to have seen some faces.
Or maybe even only one.
