very cute shot and cuter pose :D, I wish that either the eyes were in focus or the hand wasnt in focus, as the focus draws the eyes to the hand... also should 'fade' the edges there around the black :)

That's really cool, and I think a lot of photographers can relate to the temporary loss of sanity when nature gives you moments like these. You say there was very little processing, does that mean that the sky really was that much darker on the other edge of the rainbow? The reflections in the street are an extra kicker. I would not have thought this to be a pano unless you mentioned it, cool stuff.

Man, I never pull my camera out on the subway - gotta get over that fear. You're put in proximity to some very interesting stuff, as this shot attests to. Nice work, DoF heightens the impact, and the person in the distant top left corner glancing over seals the deal.
