I think this picture deserved a higher mark, I agree that some of the elements at the bottom of the frame are a bit distracting, but the beak is really sharp and he has a great expression on his face. Cute title too. Anyway you got 2 faves you should be happy!

this is a very pretty scene and I really like where you're going with this. I must say however that the snow appears more gray than white, and I like the depth of field effect you have going, but think it would be more effective if the focused part of the image wasn't at the very edge of the frame, I wish it was just off the edge so you have blur on either side of it instead of just to the one side.
