Nice and different. I think this shot has much potential. Would have liked to see this in much dimmer light and to have 3/4 of the pretty face lit up instead of cut in 1/2.

Hmmm I like these kinds of motion shots. The light on this one is good. However, I would have loved to see the "motionblur" to be "behind" the train not in front. It looks unnatural for the blur to precede the travel of the train. Also the title detracts from the title..."Waiting in the Yard" makes me want to see "no motion" because of the word "waiting".

Hmmm now that I'm looking at it, I'm beginning to see that the subject train may be "stationary" while another train is passing in the back..?!?!?

Whichever it is...I'm not reducing my score because of technicalities on the motion blur or title...6 from me but I may come back later to take another look.

Just think...not really a single light source! You have a light on the rocks but the "starlight" is showing also...which is a natural light source so I'm giving you a 1 for DNMC....



.......just kidding....great work....and I know how hard it is to get a good shot of the sky while getting some detail on the ground...8 from me. 10 if it were a little "crisper".

Although not "artificial" I'm going to score it as if it was artificial light. I see other shots in this challenge using "flames" or "fire" as artificial light...but guess what...the sun is "flame" and "fire" !

This is strange b/c the challeng said "artificial light source" and that glowing squid is a "natural" light source! However, I will overlook DNMC and give you what the shot is worth....

I would have like to see this bigger so I could better tell what it was.
