My son and I pondered this shot for twenty minutes (we couldn't figure out the position of the body). very well done. Would have liked more focus on the hand but realize it's hard to do when you're dead!

This is a classic still life set-up with great composition. The upset bowl of apples is obviously the subject of the photo. The redness of the apples lends to the overall classic feel. The lighting might me a little harsh on the shiny surfaces. The walls in the background frame the table nicely, but lining up the corner of the table with the corner of the walls might have given the photo a more resolved look. Nice job in preparing the area, it's free of distractions. General feeling of the photo is a warm one, reminds me of paintings that might hang in your grandparents house.

I figured this was shot substantially farther north due to the lack of leaves. Are you having an unseasonably cold May? Congrats on a nice photo.

I don't normally comment on pics that I hold in high regard because most pics this good get repetitive remarks of "Great!" and "Wonderful!" In this case it really is. The use of lines and curves were wonderful. Contrast is great. it gives the feeling of snow in a snow globe. Very thought provoking.

beautiful shot, but IMO the shot does not stand on it's own as an advertisement. To me it says "pretty scenery". had you submitted this for a pathways challenge I would have scored it very high.
