this is a moment well-captured ... It is definitely an emotional look on the subject. I think a little color-modification would do wonders. Since the lighting is hospital-ish, there is a green/yellow cast that could edited. Very nice though.

This image is absolutely beautiful ... it does, however, suffer from confusing light sources and too much noise (the tree in the forground looks like either a flash or car lights are on it - if the moon were the only llight source it might be more effective).Allowing the camera to sit on a tri-pod and keeping a low ISO would give better results (I'm making assumptions of course about the way it was shot -but I'm just trying to help. Good luck.
