Cool feeling here. The slightly tipsy subject is subtle ... the birds bring hope .... overall more beautiful than desolate but still a 7.

umbrellas typically do well in challenges ... I should know :] ... anyway, in this case I think the new-looking umbrella erases much of the desolate feeling here. The scene is excellent and having a person there is fine ... maybe an umbrella that's been beat up would work better here. 6

This looks pretty cool actually but without a larger image it can't go head-to-head with images that use the full 640 pixels.
