Congratulations on your top 20 finish. It's a worthy image and just shws that carrying the box and lens surely does pay off.

under-rated. What a great scene and story. The title is perhaps too biblical and possibly offensive IMO but we don't judge titles here.

The Hasidic cover their faces to avoid being photographed on the Sabbath. Sort of found that out later. This whole scene was extremely random. Just goes to show you what you might stumble across if you leave your house.

Congratulations on your top 20 finish. An image that invokes seep questions and then the feeling that there goes a part of me...

This is a great image with a compelling narrative. What is that man doing? Is he grieving? Is he part of a funeral procession?
Technically everything is good. Only thing that comes to mind is using PSCS2's lens distortion correction to fix the building. (It looks like it is falling over and not perpendicular to the ground.) You could also experiment with darkening the upper corners to keep the eye in a bit, but it works fine. 10.

Very nicely done. Excellent muted colors - it would have been more impressive without the automobile but I suppose that can't be helped. Meets the challenge perfectly. 7

I already voted a while ago, now I'm back for commenting. I gave this picture a 9. I think it conveys the meaning well. The new hearse in front of the drab run down building says alot about what goes in these types of neighborhoods.

Wow, I can only imagine at the circumstances that lent themselves to this shot, but I find it a very thought provoking and stimulating image. I feel very drawn into the photo and my imagination racing about the story behind it. I like that trait in a shot very much. Good sound composition also. Nice job, I like it!

This is pretty neat. I like the guy hiding his face, the graffiti is perfect. My only nitpic is the distortion(not that it could be helped;))

Very good. All elements work well together, from the old building covered with graffiti to the hearse and mourner in black. I have to wonder did you stumble upon this scene or set it up. Not many people have access to a hearse!

Interesting mix of elements in the photograph. I like the tone, contrast and the composition. The only thing that needs some improvement maybe is the perspective - lines seem to be falling over a bit.
