both the water and sky are blown out. The greens need to be a bit more saturated also. As for compositino, the cropping is too tight in my mind. Would have left more space in front of the car.

I like the sharpness and vivid colors. I love flag as it symbolizes much of how my country came to be - but I don't see that it says affluence. There are too many poor in this country that our own government does not seem to care about. They would rather re-build other countries than to feed and clothe their own.

Okay - now that the challenge is over, here's a reply to some of the comments.

This is an AR-15 - I realize it has no scope and is not an actual sniper rifle, but it seemed to have more impact than the 7mm with a scope that I could have used.
As for the 40 Mag ("banana clip") being illegal....it is only illegal to sell them. Those folks who owned one before the ban were allowed to keep them.
The odd contrast was done purposefully to give it less of a backyard snapshot look - not due to any blown out highlights. The trees actually looked fine.
