Tolharubang (Model)by John_LeeComment: I really like how the lighting brings out the intricate details of this sculpture. I would have like to see more of this - maybe in portriat mode. |

When the dawn seemed forever lostby xantangummiComment: Love the pose and perspective...not sure about the rope around the wrists as I'm not getting the meaning in it. Nice DOF and good use of the single source lighting. |

New Nokiaby errasmusComment: I dont find much interest in this image - but that's just my personal pref. The focus does not seem sharp at any point except the word Nokia on the strap. The haziness of the light does not bring anything to this image. |

Linked to Heavenby ccaseyComment: interesting perspective - shows creativity. I bot moire abstract to my personal liking in a photo, but well executed. |

Pompiby sarimiliComment: The lighting seems harsh uuner the chin and the focus a bit too soft. I'm not real crazy about the background choice either. While the blue color of the background does compliment the gray cat, the square patterns are what I find distracting, and the sharp crease on the left side |

Fountains at my workby HedsIcComment: "Use a single, artificial light source to dramatically light the subject of your choice." - appears to be more than one light |

Blue Icicleby alien2thisworldComment: Nice image demonstrating the beauty of simplicity. I would have liked to have seen the pine needles sharper - but the subject being the ice it isnt that big an issue. Nice capture of the ice - love the blue tones. |

Close Encountersby kosmikkreeperComment: Nice mood set here by the lone figure standing waiting in the dark. Focus, exposure controls, and lighting are all well executed. As for composition - well done but I would recommend cropping closer on the left to get rid of the parked car. As for meeting the challenge - the shadows seem to indicate thdere was more than one light source. Minusing a point for that but stil a commendable score. |

Free as a Birdby STEINRComment: Wonderful capture of a seagull resting - beuatifully lit by the SUN - which is not really meeting challenge details that specify ONE ARTIFICIAL light source. Sorry but I have to know down this otherwsie nice image a point for not following the details. |
