Way over exposed - you cannot even tell there was a mud puddle in existence here.

The source of lighting appears to be sunlight - which is not using one source of artificial light as the challenge directed. Aside from that, the image is over-exposed for the amount of lighting coming through the window. The feet being cropped off and the odd stance of the cat make the composition weak.

I think if the knife were thrust into the man from behind then his head would have fallen forward - not backward. Maybe that sounds picky but I think when you are trying to execute a shot like this every small detail matters.

I like the composition as the stones form a nice gentle curve the way they are stacked. I would have liked to see a bit more texture though - maybe an adjustment in curves and a bit stronger USM would help out.
