A bit too dark - perhaps under exposed? My only other suggestion would be to remove the dog tag as I find it distracting. Beautiful colors. DOF is perfect.

Nice job with the lighting. The focus is also right on. My only suggestion would be to try to get the dog to look down a tad. Try holding something of interest the dog at the level that gets his/her head at a better angle.

Cute little pup. The side of the face you captured is the shaded side - not sure if that was intentional or not. The shadow below the abdomen is a bit harsh .. perhaps a fill light set up along side you pointing directly at the pup would help here? I'm not an indoor lighting expert by any stretch of the imagination though, so hopefully you'll get some better advice from others here.

Gorgeous dog here. The DOF is a bit narrow, as I would have liked to see the front feet a bit more in focus too. But, it is still one of the better entries in the challenge.
