To be sure an image of beauty and high quality..... Placement in the Nude Gallery is fitting and appropriate. I am wondering why and how you determined to also place this in the Abstract Gallery? I have a problem understanding not only your choice but many other subject specific images placed in the abstract gallery. Certianly the definition of abstract can easily be intrepreted broadly and I am not attempting to teach art 101, but what is a working definition of the term abstract as it relates to art:
1. an abstract concept would be considered apart from concrete existence.
2. abstract is theoretical, not applied or practical.
3. abstract is difficult to understand, it is abstruse.
4. abstract is thought of or stated without reference to a specific instance.
5. abstract is impersonal, as in attitude or view.
6. abstract has content that depends solely upon intrinsic form rather than on narrative content or pictorial representation.
