An attractive specimen - I have only seen them in the wild on a few occasions, in the center of the State near a protected flyway, in open fields and in pairs. I understand this Florida bird is a bit different in habit from the migratory Great Lakes type that I have encountered. They were once numerous were I live. There is a former hardwood logging camp nearby - named Cranetown, where the bird migrated at the turn of the century (1900AD) in large numbers to the trout stream.

good rich tone and expressive pixel grain has a primitive feel - but aggressive sharpen is somewhat noticable. Good composition, excellent light and depth of field.

feels bit like a zzesque composition..... strong horizontal detail composition of an often pictured motif (boat/water reflection) is quite good, the reflection of water on the hull is a different take.... but colour seems a bit weak, blacks not black enough
