It does seem like a conspiracy, doesn't it? Great take on the challenge, but not the most interesting image to me. I wish that the tree tops either were not there at all, or were more visible, and that the sky were a more interesting color. That said, I love the concept, so 7.

I keep coming back to this because I'm not sure what to make of it, or even what it is. I like the diagonal and the symettry of the background, and the color scheme is intriguing, but I don't understand what the heck it is!

Well, there were plenty of gravestone / death images in here, and I think it's a valid idea. On this one, however, I wish that the gravestone were a little straighter, or more angled if it was done on purpose. I also wish it were a little more in focus, and the the saturation and contrast were up'd so that the vegetation was more colorful.

I really like the concept for the image, and the Jupiter & rocks in the foreground are great, but the little plastic spaceship is ruining it for me. Everything else is so well done, but the spaceship looks like it came out of a cereal box.
