Very pretty kitty and picture is taken well...nicely focused. Might be a tad dark at the top, but otherwise technically sound. A family pet just doesn't, in my opinion, meet the spirit of the challenge.

Nice family of ducks. I especially like how you were able to catch the water drops from the splash of the little guy in the back. The lighting is fabulous, especially on the mom and chicks. Dad's head must have gotten into the shadows because he's a little dark, but other than that, I don't find any flaws. You should do well...good luck.

Argg! I hate those things!! Too close for my personal liking...LOL...no, nicely focused with good detail of the legs and tenticles. Just the top one has annoying hot spot that you'll probably get a lot of comments on.

Ducks

Hey! They aren't all ducks...I see a crow or grackle in there. Ducks are kind of far away and a little out of focus. Otherwise, a nice shoreline photo. Good luck in the challenge.

Having done a lot of deer shots, I know how hard it is to make them clear. It's difficult to get close enough for a good photo since they spook so easily. It's too bad that they were in the shade of the trees because they are a little dark but you can see their faces nicely. A very good attempt and definately meets the challenge. Good Luck!

Nice DOF and detail on the snail that we see. I like the placement of him in the picture. I only wish I could see more of his shell because I think that's the most interesting part. 8 Good luck in the challenge.

Actually, this picture looks a little better in the thumbnail. I don't really care for the overexposed look of it. Perhaps a little over-sharpened.

Surely, this looked better in person. It seems that the lighting (must be in back of the trees), draws the color out of the trees in this photo. Also, it is very unfortunate that there is a lot of artifact in your picture. Otherwise, it IS a well framed shot. I like the reflection in the water.
