Fauna Under Constructionby gowf67Comment: Very nice take on the challenge. I like the inside of the nest better than the outside. Perhaps just a little different cropping of this photo by removing some of the jumbled mess in the lower section of this photo and make it more eye appealing. The eggs and the nesting around them are perfect. I bet the mom wasn't too happy with you messing around near her nest. |

America's Heartlandby GeocideComment: I really like the composition of this photo, however the lighting and focus could be improved, in my opinion. I can hardly see the faces of the cows. It does meet the challenge. Good luck in the contest. |

Spring Tulipsby mjf999Comment: This is a beautiful picture of tulips, however, I have a feeling that you submitted to the wrong challenge. I don't see any animals here. However, dispite that, this photo is well done. DOF is fully on the two whole flowers in the picture with the most color and that is nice. I think that it might be just a little dark. Perhaps an adjustment to brightness/contrast would bring out the colors even more and make them more brilliant. Unfortunately, this photo is not going to do as well as it should since it doesn't meet the challenge, but I give you credit for the great shot. |

On the Prowlby firstduchessComment: Great DOF on this photo. I am real impressed on how you got this cute lil' critter in such great focus. Great detail on his coat and markings on his back and head. I like the colors in the background...it complements well with the chipmunk. Other than maybe your photo being cropped a little close on the left where you cut off the ends of his whiskers, this picture is virtually perfect, in my opinion. Congrats! Good luck in the challenge. |

Morning Gloryby margieComment: Very beautiful horse and I like how he is so color-corordinated. His harness matches the color of the fence posts. In addition to that, the photo is well focused and shows great detail. The only thing that I might have done differently is crop out a little more on the left, but that's just me. Good luck in the challenge. 8 |

"No Wake Zone"by casualguyComment: Out of all the pictures of the canadian geese, this one is my favorite. The bird is positioned nicely in the picture. It is well focused, showing nice detail and clarity. The reflection is perfect. The colors are go together nicely. Nothing seems to be out of place. Well done...10 Good luck in the challenge. |

Yearling Big Horn Sheep - Colorado Faunaby jimsappComment: Excellent capture and the lighting couldn't have been more perfect. Nicely focused. Shows great depth...like one step to the right and he could fall off. I almost get dizzy just looking at it. |

New Mexican Roadrunnerby compugoddessComment: This bird, unfortunately, gets lost in the foilage. Narrowing your focus would blurr out some of the background. The lighting seems a bit harsh. |

Nevada Desertby picsoComment: This is a very BEAUTIFUL picture and would probably win in a different challenge or at least score high. I don't see any animals here and I know that this won't get the score this picture deserves. |
