Round-n-Roundby Dennis TComment: Good use of lighting. The shadows are actually kind of nice. Perhaps cropped a little too tightly to my liking |

Circle of Funby OzzieComment: The angle at which this was taken and the reflections inside the tube makes for a dull subject more interesting. Good job. Good luck in the challenge. |

'Spotlight on the Unwanted'by suemackComment: Awww...what a cutie!! I would like to see the edges on the kitty be a little more defined. Appears to fade out but perhaps that was caused by the spot light. None the less, picture pulls at the heart strings. Hope he/she finds a home. |

The end of the faceless?by Art RoflmaoComment: OMG! I do feel VERY dense (see my comment below). I didn't catch onto the woody people thing. Now that I see the symbolism of it, I understand the picture WAY better. Please forgive me. I bow down in honor of this great picture and its maker. Congrats on your top 20. |

Made in Americaby CoozComment: I really liked this picture and its symbolism. Congrats on your top 20 finish, however, I must admit that I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't finish higher. :-) |

Foulby ImagineerComment: Might I add that it is good to see some originality in a challenge full of hundreds of bug and flower photos, however a fly might have been appropriate for this picture. While not necessarily a macro, this close up, I believe still meets the criteria for a close-up although the background which contains more pleasent subjects and colors is rather distracting. Since I have dogs, I have seen more interesting poop. This picture seems rather flat, lacking focus, depth and texture. Maybe a better angle, lighting and composition (and perhaps a different diet for the dog) would provide better color and texture to a good poop. As it stands, it is only a pile of sh**. LOL Good luck in the challenge. :-) |

The ropes that bind(hair banders)by smilebig4me1xComment: Nicely done. I wish you hadn't put in the title what the subject is. It is nice to be able to keep people guessing. The picture is a little dark. I would have liked to see the colors pop out a little more. Also, i'd like to say that it is really nice to see some originality in a challenge full of bugs and flowers. Good luck :-) |

Working on My Blueby CutterComment: Nicely done. Perhaps a little over-sharpened, but it is great to see originality amoung the hundreds of flower and bug photos. Good luck...not only on this challenge, but on working for a blue ribbon. |
