i gave you an '8' because while i thought the photo was just okay, it was such an original idea, met the challenge well, and i loved it - i'm so glad it did well. congrats!

ps - i guess my main complaint about the photo would be the shadow on one of the (leaning) bunnys and also even though i can see the water line is straight the bunnies seem to be at an off angle (one of those things that you only see later and don't want to bother to go out and re-shoot to fix ;-)

instead of being frozen, i wonder how a slower ISO/longer shutter speed would have come out (some blur, the water in streaks). but that said, i still like this shot.

kind of grainy. was this too tightly cropped, over post processed, or poorly reduced for submission? also, i think getting some reference point (anchor) of land in the photo might have helped (although i understand that with these clouds that might not have worked)

this is a great setup. i think the table edge / red background detracts a lot from the photo. if you had moved the trap to the other side of the table and had an only slighly higher angle maybe it would have been just the trap and the table cloth, without the distracting background. amazing focus and detail. nice.

might have cropped out the bottom of the photo where you can see the dish towel edge curving off the table. odd choice of background, and i think the limited DOF hurt you here as the basket is a little out of focus, looking a little too plastic (maybe it is) with both the front focus looking soft and the handle vs. the background clashing a little. cropping in on just the candies might have helped, as the labels come out very crisp.
