Disc Artby tuffyComment: Nice tonal range, and I think the focuse is crisp. Not sure what the heck I'm looking at, but I think that I like it. |

Gaye Lynn loves flowersby weiszComment: Great colors and nice focus, but I would like to see this one with the flower below her face and perhaps some fill flash to bring out her face and really add to those catch lights. I do like the pose and she looks completely relaxed being photographed. Chopping off that bottom hand also leads me out of the frame. |

Color Studyby admart01Comment: There is really nothing that "pops" in this photograph. While it makes for a nice conversational print, there is just nothing that makes me think wow. The vines in the vase also serve to lead the viewer out of the frame and to wonder what else is there. |

Spring's Getting Comfortableby spreadpanicComment: I like the idea here, but your subject gets lost in the frame. Perhaps taking the main focus out of the center and focusing on one of the brighter blooms would have remedied all this. Great potential, just not the best of all execution. |

Standoutby igoofryComment: Well seen and great clarity. I also like the DOF use that you accomplished here, but I thin that the new blooms and large leaves on the right are distracting the viewr from your subject. Maybe shifting you position to the left would have bettered this shot. |

Colorful viewby MelethiaComment: --Trading Post Comment--
You captured the vibrant colors needed for high votes on here, but the subject is too busy for my taste. The color and clarity are fabulous, but there is just too much to look at. Perhaps isolating an individual pane would have made a more dramatic impact. Nearly 5.6, not bad for this site. |

Reflectively Staring at Her Manby chaliceComment: --Trading Post Comment--
This is just noy a very DPC friendly shot. They (we) need vibrant colors and lots of neat image to vote high on this site. The shot as a whole is not bad, but nothing really jumps out as an appealing subject. It seems that the most focused oart of the image is the wooden part of the window, thus pulling the viewer's eye to that spot with little interest. The composition is fine, but the shot just lacks some interest. I do not believe that titles make or break an image, but again, this is DPC. OFten we need to be told waht we need to think about an image. I rarely even read the title before I comment or vote for the shot. |

barn hingeby margiemuComment: This is a nicely composed capture, althought I wish it was larger. It looks like you had a hundred pixels or so to spare. I also think a slight curves adjustment would have really made the rust jump out. Well seen. |

Five Loaves Bakeryby holdingtimeComment: Very nice. I might have composed just a bit differently to include the rest of the basket handle, but that would be about the only change that I'd make. Great colors and crisp focus. |

Dimpleby alzartComment: Great lighting and a very nice smile. I would have cropped a bit tighter to get the driver out of the frame and also would have thrown that poodle out the window. (No, I don't really hurt animals) The colors all play together very well in this image. |
