A Curious Shrineby RKTComment: I knew this would not finish at the top, but I never dreamed of being so close to the bottom. YIKES! Maybe I'll go for a brown next time. And to all who hand out 1's and 2's...howz about you start sharing why...surely it couldn't be that this didn't fit the "theme"...{{{sigh}}}

Looking in for Partsby neophyteComment: I love going to events similar to the one pictured here...for me it's HotsRods and Kustom cars...they seem to be so ripe for picture taking. Love the "grit" of the picture and the contrast is beautiful...totally adds to the atmosphere. Super nice. |

Go Ahead...Give It Your Best Shot!by LokiComment: This is just a really cool image...hits the carnival atmosphere just right. The bright balloons contrasted against the dangling prizes is great...then to the right we have the the guy who runs the game. I like how he is half obscured by shadow... makes it all seem a little shifty. The harsh light is also perfect, just really nicely done. |

B29 Superfortressby Mr_PantsComment: The picture really effects me due to pleasant memories I have. My Grandfather was a total aviation nut and always took me around to "see the planes". Thanks for making me think of him and some very cherished memories. Also, I love the simplicity of the image, just really nicely made. |

Sisterby eggvComment: The title leads me to believe this is an erotic type of family picture? That's just kinda icky pervy.
I'm back...this photo is like one of those songs that will not get out of your head...some say titles are not important, I am not one of those people. A title can lead, influence, define, or merely just label what we are looking at...I kept thinking how much this picture would change if the title were different...what if it were called "Wife" "Nextdoor" "Exhibit" "Watching" "Temptation"?( I'm not suggesting you to change the title at all just, thinking out loud.) I like how the "meaning" of this picture would change...You have boldly labeled this "Sister"...very provacative...uncomfortable...completely demonstrates how a title can spin a picture. Bumping this way up for being bold and provacative...also, just thought of this, for some reason I assumed the photgrapher is male...I could me completely wrong! Why would I assume this? Just because it's a nude? The reflection of a man? Such a great "loaded" complex image! I'll leave ya alone now. : } |

Retiredby bladComment: This has a really nice nostalgic appeal with a touch of wistful dreamyness. The light if gorgeous...that bit of aqua adds contrasts nicely with the white and black...it all makes me think of the beach. |

The Virgin Mary, the Indian and Deathby milo655321Comment: Great picture...love the red glow, the light in general. That little skeleton statue at the bottom left totally makes this for me...the obscurity of the sign is also really effective...it's all so mysterious with a pinch of sinister |
