The Closet.jpgby dustin03Comment: It's funny...I never see these kind of images as gloomy and lonely...perhaps that comes from living in a very old house, a house built over 200 years ago, and living through it's restoration...not renovation, there's a huge difference, but restoration...yes...that is what these images are about to me...restoration and potential, if only realised...which for many I assume is not an easy thing...we must seek it. There were times when many of the rooms in my past home looked worse than what we see here...but I have a husband who has an affinity for these magnificent old places and finds a great deal of joy in bringing them back to life...it's actually what he does for a living. He sees these homes, as do I, as actually living breathing things...not just some old played out dwelling...they must be loved and cared for, or like people they start to fall apart...to suffer. This image brings about very pleasant memories actually, and also makes me miss my old home very much. |

flower on old woodby mrr1Comment: This is very pretty...I love clover. The light and color are so nice and subtle. The fluffy whitish border treatment is a little odd and really not necessary...this image is just as lovely without it. |
