February in B&Wby lei_73Comment: I'm back to bump this up to an 8...no, 9. The control over the tonal scale is so nice as is the B&W conversion. It's also my fascination with where people go walking that causes a moment for pause as I make my way back through this February FS. I'm glad the person is there and I'm becoming fairly obsessed with the reflections in the water. |

Storm Surgeby CuttoothComment: I think it's overcooked for my taste...the hills are glowing as if radioactive. The movement around the rocks is very nice though...maybe just a little less processing overall, a lighter touch so to speak, as it is a nice scene. |

Red & Blueby mqnaufalComment: I recognize the model from a previous challenge, which is fine. She's lovely. I just have to admit that I would have given this a much higher score had it not been for the selective desaturation things happening here. Maybe it would have been slightly more pleasing with just the lips done, maybe...but the lips and the bauble are just too much. The blue bauble begs for my attention and I resent it for that. |

mesmerising by GilesComment: ...you're right..it is...the longer I look t this, the more interesting it becomes. Plus, the more I look at this, the more I want to pick those little bits of drieds out of the chicken wire...it's a compulsion like bubble wrap. |

early morning walk in color-1by WagonwheelComment: For some reason I love seeing photographs of where other people go for walks...maybe because I love walks myself? This looks like a good place for a walk. It's interesting, at least to me...there are the not far from home walks, perhaps like this place, then there are the far from civilization sort of walks, I like those too. Maybe I'm weird to contemplate the idea of where and why people walk, but it's intriguing. |

upby bvyComment: The harmony between the comment and the shadow...it's a good one. I love how the blue is running down to meet them all...nicely seen. |

No smokingby SEGComment: I like to think of these sort of images as "eye fun". All the texture, shapes, color...like a playground for my eyeballs. I think that's why I like catching them myself. |
