I never got to go to the Cape in the winter...every other season but never winter. I have such good memories of the place. We had people in Chatham...long gone now. You're photographs always make me want to come back for a visit.

What I enjoy about this so much is the purity of color...clean and crisp...like an era of long ago. I definitely agree with Robert about the Kodachrome. That may be what makes me recall another era. My grandfather amassed a massive collection of slides through his life and I still love going through the pictures from 50+ years ago and the color is still so crisp and new.

This is so beautifully regional...I don't have scenes like this here in Tennessee...that's what is so nice about websites like this...the interaction of people from all over. That being said...I really like this, so quiet and simple.

Very haunting...it's as if the image was snapped as the photographer was falling to the ground. This is the sort of image that grows on you the more time the viewer spends with it...at least for me...its the suspense and anticipation...very nice.
